ANDREA FARLEY-SHIMOTA
Originally from Minnesota, Andrea Farley Shimota’s dance journey began at Summit Dance Shoppe and Hopkins Dance Studio. She graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Purchase, earning a BFA in Dance and a BA in Sociology. After graduation, Andrea quickly joined the cast of PunchDrunk's "Sleep No More" in New York City. Concurrently, her freelance career has been highlighted by performances at New York Fashion Week for Shannon Gillen, an immersive event at the Plaza Hotel for their anniversary celebration, as the primary dancer in a music video for Latin Emmy award winner Silvana Estrada, and for Alexandra Waierstall at Dia: Beacon. Her collaborative work extends to projects with artists such as Marla Phelan, Kevin Pajarillaga/CJ Johnson, Keerati Jinakunwiphat, and Hannah Garner's 2nd Best Dance Company. Currently, Andrea is engaged in rehearsals with Assaf Salhov as well as with Jody Oberfelder Projects.
Caleb Patterson
Caleb is a dance artist based in New York City. He has performed works by several notable choreographers such as Nathan Trice, Rena Butler, and Patrick O’Brien during his education at The Joffrey Ballet School in 2014. Alongside being seen in HBO’s Random Acts Of Flyness led by Domani Pompey, he has worked with artists Maleek Washington, Em Greenwell, Kayla Farrish, and more. He has performed works by MATHETA dance, LaneCoArts, Spark Movement Collective, MORISATO, Kar’mel Small, Javier Padilla, Dolly Sfeir, Nicole Fuentes, and Beatriz Castro. Caleb collaborates closely with artists Michelle Thompson Ulerich and Johnny Butler, and has presented his own work at Arts On Site, TADA! Youth Theater, Bridge For Dance, The Visionary, and other selected commissions. He has performed in Battery Dance Festival, MATHETA’s Speak Through Movement at Judson Church, Palm Desert Choreography Festival, PAGEANT, Mare Nostrum Element’s Emerging Choreographer Series, Dance Gallery Festival, CUNY Dance Initiative, and others.
Mariah Anton-Arters
Mariah Anton-Arters is a New York-based freelance dance artist who graduated in 2019 from UNC School of the Arts with a BFA in contemporary dance. Prior to her attendance there, she trained in formal disciplines under Jo-Ann Hertzman. Mariah has been privileged to perform a wide range of works including pieces by Merce Cunningham, José Limón, Martha Graham, and more. Mariah frequently works with the Merce Cunningham Trust, while also working with Liz Gerring, Cornfield Dance, Dance Heginbotham, Christopher Williams Dance, Helen Simoneau Danse, Daniel Gwirtzman and The Moving Architects, among others.
Costumer/Set DesigneR:
Katrin Schnabl is an artist, designer, and educator. Her designs for dance include the Joffrey Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, John Jaspers, Doug Elkins, Jennifer Monson, and many others. Trained as a dancer, Schnabl moved from Frankfurt, Germany, to New York, where she honed her skills both on stage and off by creating costumes for dance artists. She shifted towards fashion and worked with renowned designers, including Jil Sander and Carolina Herrera, before launching an independent fashion label Miche. Kimsa, followed by her eponymous line. Since relocating to Chicago, where she serves as the chair of the fashion department at the School of the Art Institute, Schnabl fluidly shifts between creating sophisticated garments that move sensuously on the body and spatial installations that profoundly shift the relation with the body. Through these sensory and kinetic experiences, she is forging new intersections and audiences for her project-based practice.

Rebekah Morin is an artist whose roots in concert dance have branched into site work, film, and immersive and interactive theater. She performed and taught extensively with Jody Oberfelder Projects from 2002-2011 and The Equus Projects from 2007-2012. Since 2010, she has been collaborating in multiple capacities with Third Rail Projects. Recent and upcoming projects include Dead Letter No. 9, produced by ROLL THE BONES Theater Co. and a new interactive work for young audiences TRP. Ms. Morin is certified to teach vinyasa and anusara yoga and to practice thai massage, and is trained in Natural Horsemanship. She has a BA in Dance from Connecticut College.
COMPOSEr:
John King is a composer, guitarist, and violist whose work spans contemporary classical music, opera, and interdisciplinary performance. He has received commissions from leading ensembles and institutions, including Kronos Quartet, Bang on a Can All-Stars, New York City Ballet, Ballets de Monte Carlo, and the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. King has written seven operas, often engaging experimental text sources and literary figures such as Samuel Beckett, Sappho (translated by Anne Carson), Heiner Müller, and Stéphane Mallarmé. His music has been presented internationally at venues and festivals including Lincoln Center Festival, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, The Kitchen, Roulette, and the Warsaw Autumn Festival. A longtime advocate for experimental music, he served as Music Curator at The Kitchen and co-directed the Music Committee at MCDC. His honors include the Foundation for Contemporary Arts Award for Sound/Music, the Alpert Award in the Arts, and residencies at the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center and the Emily Harvey Foundation.
